Administrative data
First-aid measures
- General advice: No action should be taken involving personal risk. Use personal protective equipment as required. Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid breathing vapours. Do not ingest. If swallowed then seek immediate medical assistance.
- Following inhalation: If breathing is difficult, remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.
- Following skin contact: Wash with plenty of water. If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention.
- Following eye contact: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.
- Following ingestion: Rinse mouth. Give plenty of water to drink. Do NOT induce vomiting. Call a POISON CENTER/doctor if you feel unwell.
- Most important symptoms and effects: None known
Fire-fighting measures
- Suitable extinguishing media: As appropriate for surrounding fire
- Unsuitable extinguishing media: Direct water jet may spread the fire
- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: None known
- Advice for fire fighter: Fight fire with normal precautions from a reasonable distance. Fire fighters should wear complete protective clothing including self-contained breathing apparatus. Keep containers cool by spraying with water if exposed to fire. Avoid run off to waterways and sewers.
Accidental release measures
- Personal precautions: Ensure operatives are trained to minimise exposures. Ensure suitable personal protection during removal of spillages. Shut off leaks if without risk. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid breathing vapours
- Environmental precautions: Avoid release to the environment. Do not allow to enter drains, sewers or watercourses.
- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Contain spillages. Cover spills with inert absorbent material. Recover the product where possible. Ventilate the area and wash spill site after material pick-up is complete.
Handling and storage
- Precautions for safe handling: Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, avoid direct contact. Avoid breathing fumes. Provide adequate ventilation when using the material and follow principles of good occupational hygiene to control personal exposures. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Remove contaminated clothing and wash clothes before re-use

Exposure controls / personal protection
Hygiene measures: Keep good industrial hygiene. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, avoid direct contact. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Do not eat, drink or smoke at the work place. Eyewash facilities should be stationed close to workplace where possible.
Hand protection: Wear impervious gloves (EN374). Gloves should be changed regularly to avoid permeation problems. Breakthrough time of the glove material: refer to the information provided by the gloves’ producer.
Eye protection: Use eye protection according to EN 166, designed to protect against liquid splashes
Respiratory protection: No personal respiratory protective equipment normally required.
Skin and body protection: Wear suitable coveralls to prevent exposure to the skin.

Do not contaminate ground or surface waters via drainage, by cleaning of equipment or disposal of wastes. Non-contaminated packages may be recycled. Handle contaminated packages in the same way as the substance itself.
