The test was carried out at 98.7 kPa atmospheric pressure. Using a linear heating rate of 0.5°C/min, the boiling point of the test material was found to be 333.8 ± 0.17°C (95% confidence interval), i.e. 607.0 K.

Conclusions:
Under the conditions of this study, the boiling point of the test material was found to be 333.8 ± 0.17°C (95% confidence interval).
Executive summary:

The boiling point of the test material was investigated in accordance with the standardised guidelines OECD 103 and EU Method A.2, under GLP conditions.

A preliminary test with two parallel samples was performed at 10°C/min heating rate from the melting point to 400°C. In the main test, two capillaries containing the test material were placed into the apparatus and the block was heated from 325 to 340°C at a 0.5°C/min heating rate. The sample was observed visually through the magnifying glass. The end temperature was registered when a quick continuous flow of bubbles was formed at the plunged-in end of the capillary. The experiment was repeated three times with two parallel measurements each. The mean of the six measurements was reported.
