Discussion

The test item was a solid at room temperature, however due to its nature the test item became mobile when heated, allowing the glass vessels to be filled to capacity before equilibration at the test temperature.

Conclusions:
The density of the test item has been determined to be 1.12 x 103 at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C; relative density: 1.12.
Executive summary:

The general physico-chemical properties of 4,4'-Isopropylidenediphenol, oligomeric reaction products with 1-chloro-2,3-epoxypropane, reaction products with triethylenetetramine have been determined.

Density. 1.12x 103kg/m3at 20.0 ± 0.5ºC, the corresponding relative density was calculated to be 1.12, using the pycnometer method, designed to be compatible with Method A.3 Relative Density of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008 and Method 109 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 02 October 2012.
