First-aid measures

Skin: wash affected areas with water while removing contaminated clothing. Get immediate medical attention.
Eyes: Flush eyes with generous amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Get immediate medical attention.
Oral ingestion: If swallowed, immediately induce vomiting unless the victim is unconscious. Dilute with water or milk and call a physician immediately.
Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Aid in breathing if necessary and get immediate medical attention.

Most important symptoms and effects both acute and delayed: No significant reaction of the human body to this substance is known.

Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed: There is no specific and immediate treatment, but should consult a doctor.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media: water spray, dry chemical, foam or CO2.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: Toxic gases will form upon combustion: CO, CO2, NOx and SOx.
Advice for firefighters: Firefighters should be equipped with self-contained breathing apparatus and turn out gear. Shut off all sources of ignition-heat, sparks and open flames.

Accidental release measures

Environmental precautions: Do not discharfe in sewage/drainage system.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Sweep up, place in a bag and hold for waste disposal. Consult an expert on the disposal or recovered substance. Remove leaking containers to a safe place if feasible.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling: Use only in a well-ventilated area. Do not breathe dust. Keep container ttightly closed. Prevent electrical charges (e.g. by grounding). Avoid contact with skin or eyes. Wash thrououghly after handling. Do not eat, drink or smoke during work.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Keep container upright and tightly closed when not in use. Keep away from heat, steam or sublight. Store in a cool, dry well ventilated location.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Appropriate engineering controls: Exhaust ventilation and process enclosure, to reduce air contamination and keep worker exposure below the applicable limits.

Individual protection measures such as PPE and engineering measures:
Engineering measures: Use with local exhaust ventilation.
Respiratory protection: NIOSH/MSHA approved dust respirator.
Eye protection: Chemical safety goggles.
Hand, skin and body protection: Gloves, coveralls, apron, boots as necessary to prevent skin contact.

Environmental exposure controls: Emissions from ventilation or work process equiment should be checked to ensure they comply with the requirements of environmental protection legislation.

Stability and reactivity

Reactivity: No hazardous reactions if stored and handles as prescribed.
Chemical stability: This substance is chemically stable if stoed and handled as prescribed.
Possibility of hazardous reactions: No hazardous reactions known.
Conditions to avoid: Water, humidity, ignition sources and high temperatures.
Incompatible materials: strong oxidizers and strong bases.
Hazardous decomposition products: Decomposition products: CO, CO2, NOx and SOx.

Disposal considerations

Waste treatment methods: Burn in a chemical incinerator equipped with an afterburner.
