Results and discussion

Relative self-ignition temperature (solids)
Relative self-ignition temperature:
> 401 °C
Remarks on result:
no self ignition observed under the test conditions

Any other information on results incl. tables

No endothermic or exothermic effect of the test item was observed between 21°C and 401°C. It demonstrated that the test item is not self-ignitable. After the experiment, the test item had turned into a black residue.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The self-ignition temperature of the substance was determined using a temperature programmed laboratory oven, a stainless steel wire mesh cube, NiCr/NiAl thermocouples and a temperature recording device. Based on the results obtained the test item is considered not self-ignitable.
