Description of key information

The 72hr EC50 of tetrahydrothiophene on Pseudokirchneriella subcapita were determined to be 90 (biomass) and >153.2 mg/L (growth rate). The NOEC is 29.1 mg/L for growth rate.

Additional information

The study by Thiebaud (1998) is static, 72 hour, GLP compliant study that follows OECD guideline 201. The study is considered reliable and suitable for use as the key study for this endpoint.
