Description of key information

The substance decompose above 190 °C.

Additional information

Five studies were conducted (BASF SE, SIK Nr. 01/0983, 01/0984, 05/2322, 16/0084 and 16/1676) according to OECD 113 to determine the thermal stability of the test substance. The lowest onset temperature was determined to 110 °C with an considerable heat of descomposition of 2180 J/g (SIK No. 16/1676).

In five different DSC-measurements (BASF SE, SIK Nr. 01/0983, 01/0984, 05/2322, 16/0084 and 16/1676) the heat of decomposition was determined to be greater than 1480 J/g (2400, 2800, 3190, 1480 and 2130 J/g ) with an on set temperature of 280 °C (130, 160, 200, 280 and 110 °C). Thus further testing with regard to self-reactive and explosive properties was required.
