Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

No peak between room temperature and 150 °C.

Additional information

The thermal stability and the stability in air of the substance was evaluated according to the modified method based on OECD Guideline 113 (Screening Test for Thermal Stability and Stability in Air).

The sample didn't show neither without nor with air any peak between room temperature and 150 °C.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The thermal stability is an important endpoint for the transport.

The UN Test 3(c) (sub-section 13.6.1 of the UN RTDG, Manual of Tests and Criteria) is used to measure the stability of the substance when subjected to elevated thermal conditions to determine if the substance is too dangerous to transport. This test appy a temperature of 75 °C for 48 hours to three different amount of sample (small sample, 50 g and 100 g).

The thermal stability and the stability in air of the substance was evaluated according to the modified method based on OECD Guideline 113 (Screening Test for Thermal Stability and Stability in Air).

2 g of the substance was heated till 150 °C, and it didn't show neither without nor with air any peak between room temperature and 150 °C.

Therefore, the substance could be considered stable and not classified.
