Reported statistics and error estimates:
- Final concentrations were found to be within 80% of the initial concentrations with the exception of 18.6%, which was found to be 70% of the initial concentration. However, this result was not considered signifcantly different from the average value of the initial concentration and was therefore included in the interval of confidence.

Conclusions:
The 24 h EC50 of TFMEA in Daphnia magna was 48 mg/L (95% CL = 35 - 100 mg/L). The 48 h EC50 was 19 mg/L (95% CL = 16 - 24 mg/L).
Executive summary:

The acute toxicity of TFMEA to Daphnia magna was studied under static conditions according to OECD Guideline 202, adopted 4 April 2008, and EU test method C.2, 29 December 1992. Daphnids were exposed to control, and test chemical at initial concentrations of <0.8, 7.8, 7.7, 9.2, 15.2, 19, 30.1, 40.7, 64.1 mg/L. The 24 h EC50 based on immobilisation was 48 mg/L (95% CL = 35 - 100 mg/L). The 48 h EC50 based on immobilization was 19 mg/L (95% CL = 16 - 24 mg/L).
