Additional information

Distribution modelling is not applicable since several physical parameters are not available (e. g. Partition coefficient, vapour pressure, etc.). An estimation of an adsorption coefficient (Koc) on soil and sewage sludge using HPLC is not possible to carry out because of a character of the test substance (inorganic UVCB substance). Volatilization of cenospheres is not expected based on the physical chemical properties of this inorganic mixture.

The cenospheres are hollow balls. They were collected directly from ash ponds or sediment ponts, if released to water the gas bubbles cause the cenospheres to be so lightweight that they float on water.
