Conclusions:
The solubility of the test item in standard fat was determined to be 170 g/kg standard fat (corresponds to 136.56 g/l) . Temperature of measurement was 37.0 - 37.3°C.
Executive summary:

The study was performed 1987 as GLP-test following EU-testing method A.7 using the flask shaking method. The solubility of the test item in standard fat was determined to be 170 g/kg standard fat (corresponds to 136.56 g/l). Temperature of measurement was 37.0 - 37.3°C. A separate study conducted by another lab gave a result of 16500 mg/100 g of HB307.

Executive summary:

The study was performed 1987 as GLP-test following EU-testing method A.7 using the flask shaking method. The solubility of the test item in standard fat was determined to be 165 g/kg standard fat (corresponds to 132.5 g/l). Temperature of measurement was 37.0°C.

Description of key information

The fat solubility was measured at two different test laboratories. In both labs, the studies were both performed under GLP and in accordance with EU-testing method A.7, showing almost similar results. The value of 17000 mg/L (37°C) of the key study was used for the safety assessment.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
