Additional information

In a test system comparable to the specifications given in German standard guideline DIN 38412 part 9, the toxicity of the substance to algae was tested. Scenedesmus subspicatus was exposed to the substance for 72 hours and an EC50 of 21.6 mg/l was determined (BASF AG, 1988). A second test conducted in compliance with OECD guideline 201 detected an EC50 of 13.2 mg/l based on the biomass (F. Hoffmann-La Roche 1994).
