Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

No experimental data evaluating the potential for hydrolysis of Glycerides, mixed C8-10 and succinyl (CAS No. 91744-56-8) are available. However, according to Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, Annex VIII, column 2, 9.2.2.1, testing for hydrolysis is not required since the substance is readily biodegradable. The supporting QSAR calculations were performed on substitutes since these components were not available in the fragment library (HYDROWIN v2.00). Nevertheless, the results indicate that indeed hydrolysis is not expected to be a relevant degradation pathway for this substance, with half-lives ranging from 144.7 days to 1.5 years days (pH 7) and 14.3 to 55 days (pH 8)(López Parrón, 2012).
