- Justification:
Although Softanol 30 has a log Pow of greater than 4.5 and is therefore bioaccumulative. BCF has been estimated by QSAR as BCF 3010 and therefore the substance is (B but not vB). It is readily biodegradable and therefore not persistent (P or vP). On the basis that the substance is readily biodegradable, Softanol 30 does not meet the classification criteria for PBT or vPvB and assessment of toxicity is therefore not necessary.
