Allyl bromide is classified Very Toxic to Aquatic Life in accordance with the results of the key study on the toxicity to aquatic algae.

Others studies on fish and frog conclude in the same way.

According to column 2 of annex VII of REACH regulation, the study for short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates does not need to be conducted if adequate information for environmental classification and labelling is available.
