The ready biodegradability of test item methyl undecylenate was assessed by applying the OECD 301D Guideline (closed-bottle test). 80% of methyl undecylenate biodegradation was observed within 28 days. The 10 -day window biodegradation criterion was fulfilled. Methyl undecylenate is considered as readily biodegradable. According to both REACh Annex IX, section 9.2 column 2 and REACh annex X, section 9.2 column 2, no further degradation testing in water, soil or sediment is required.
