Any other information on results incl. tables

The pure product did not ignite at room temperature using a flame as ignition source. Using a glowing coil as ignition source, the test item briefly ignited and rapidly extinguished when the flame was removed at room temperature. No spreading of the combustion was detected. The test item melted when the ignition source (flame or hot wire) was applied. At an elevated temperature of 100 °C the same behavior was observed.

The burning number (acc. VDI 2263) of the pure product at room temperature and at elevated temperature 100 °C is classified as burning number BZ 2 (brief ignition and rapid extinction).
