Limited data on aquatic toxicity are available. Results of acute toxicity tests conducted by the Ministry of the Environment in Japan (2007) are given:

The ErC50 after 72 h in an Algal Growth Inhibition Test according to GLP and OECD 201 was determined to be 11 mg/L (NOEC (72h) = 1.8 mg/L). A Daphnia Acute Immobilisations Test according to GLP and OECD 202 resulted in an EC50 after 48h of 6.9 mg/L. An OECD 203 guideline study according to GLP resulted in an LC50 after 96 h of > 97 mg/L.

Hence, the test substance is regarded as acutely toxic for aquatic organisms.
