Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

In a 21-d GLP study performed according to OECD 211 the EC50 on the most sensitive parameter, which was immobilisation, was determined to 1 mg/L. The EC50 for reproduction was 1.4 mg/L and the NOEC was determined to 0.74 a.i mg/L based on nominal concentrations.

Additional information

The results are read across from the a test performed with a structurally similar compound Benzenesulfonic acid, 4-C10-13-sec-alkyl derivs., compds. with N-[3-(dimethylamino)propyl]-2-methyl-2-propenamide (1:1), (MAPDA-ABS salt). Read across to MAPTA-ABS salt is based both on the chemical similarity and the results of the short term study performed with Daphnia and the algae study. Both of these studies indicate that the two substances in the category have toxicity in the same range.
