Additional information

According to EC 1907/2006 Annex XI only the flammability of liquids is deduced from the flash point. For this solid substance a flash point was determined because the substance melts at relatively low temperatures. Therefore the flammability in this case could be deduced from the flash point and boiling point, which are 230 °C (open cup) and 274 °C respectively.

Based on experience in handling and use and the chemical structure, pyrophoricity, flammability on contact with water and self-heating are not to be expected.
