Key result
Auto-ignition temperature:
436 °C
Atm. press.:
101 kPa
Conclusions:
The test item has been determined to have an auto-ignition temperature of 436 ± 5 °C.Room temperature: 19 °C Atmospheric pressure: 101.1 to 102.1 kPa
Executive summary:

The auto ignition temprature determination was carried out using a procedure designed to be compatible with Method A.15 Auto-Ignition Temperature (Liquids and Gases). The test flask was heated in a flask heater. Aliquots of test item (tested as received) were injected into the flask using a syringe and the flask was observed for signs of ignition over a 300 second period. This procedure was repeated, varying the sample size, as necessary, until the lowest temperature at which ignition, if any, occurred within 300 seconds of insertion, was determined. Where clean flasks were not used, the flask was flushed with air between sample insertions. The auto-ignition temperature is the lowest temperature that will result in the ignition of the test item after being injected into the test flask. The test item has been determined to have an auto-ignition temperature of 436 ± 5 °C at Atmospheric pressure: 101.1 to 102.1 kPa and room temprature of 19 °C.
