Test procedure:
burning rate test over 100 mm length
Remarks on result:
other: The substance liquified by warming at 65 °C, then poured into the mould and allowed to grow stiff.
Interpretation of results:
not classified based on GHS criteria
Conclusions:
The test item is not flammable in the sense of EU Guideline A.10.
Endpoint:
flammable gases
Data waiving:
study technically not feasible
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because the substance is a solid
Endpoint:
substances / mixtures which in contact with water emit flammable gases
Data waiving:

Justification for classification or non-classification

The available experimental test data are reliable and suitable for classification purposes under Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008. Based on available data, the test item is not classified as flammable liquid, flammable solid, readily combustible solid in class 4 Division 4.1, self-heating substance in Class 4 Division 4.2, substances which in contact with water emit flammable gases in Class 4 Division 4.3, pyrophoric liquid, pyrophoric solid in class 4 Division 4.2, flammable gases in class 2 or as aerosol in class 2 according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP), as amended for the tenth time in Regulation (EU) No 2017/776.
