Conclusions:
From BCFBAF (v3.00) model of EPI suite the estimated bio concentration factor (BCF) for phosphorus tribromide is 14.79 L/kg wet-wt which does not exceed the bioconcentration threshold of 2000. Thus it is concluded that phosphorus tribromide is not expected to bio accumulate in the aquatic environment.

Additional information

Two predicted data from validated models for Bioaccumulation (BCF) endpoint of Phosphorus tribromide (7789-60-8) were summarized as follows:

First study from BCFBAF (v3.00) model of EPI suite the estimated bio concentration factor (BCF) for phosphorus tribromide is 14.79 L/kg wet-wt which does not exceed the bioconcentration threshold of 2000.Thus it is concluded that phosphorus tribromide is not expected to bio accumulate in the aquatic environment.

Above predicted result supported by Scifinder database which indicate the Bioconcentration factor (BCF) for target chemical phosphorus tribromide was predicted to be 38.9 at pH 1-10 at temperature 25 deg.C.Based on the BCF concentration at all range of pH it is concluded that the test chemical phosphorus tribromide is non bioaccumulative in nature as it does not exceed the BCF criteria of 2000.

Both results showed the BCF factor is in the range of 14.79 - 38.9 (L/kg wet-wt or dimensionless) which indicate that the test substance Phosphorus tribromide (7789-60-8) was not expected to bio accumulate in the aquatic environment.
