Additional information

The most sensitive endpoint is reported by Blum and Speece (1991) for inhibition of nitrification. Although this study did not follow a standard guideline it is the most conservative endpoint reported and was used in the EU RAR for benzene (2008). It is therefore also used here to fulfil this endpoint.
