Description of key information
In accordance with column 2 of Annex IX (required in Section 9.4) of REACH Regulation 1907/2006 testing for effects on terrestrial organisms does not need to be conducted if direct and indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely. During processing all water containing residual NaDMH is relased to a dedicated waste water treatment plant on a monthly basis and will not be released directly into the communal waste water system or the environment. Additionally due to the low affinity of the substance to cellulose fibres and the use of a dedicated waste water treatment facility no emission to the environment is anticipated as such it is considered that indirect exposure to the environment will be negligible.
