The partition coefficient was determined by means of shake flask method.
pH of the test solution: 9.46
Average Pow: 0.00058 (Std. dev. Pow: 0.00014)
Average log Pow: -3.2458 (Std. dev. log Pow: 0.10)
However, the experimentally determined log Kow value is outside the validity domain of the shake flask method according to OECD 107 (log Kow range: -2 to 4), therefore a partition coefficient was calculated using EpiSuite 4.1 on the neutral form of the substance, resulting in a logPow of 2.16. The experimental Kow has therefore to be lower than 2, presumable negative. This is a confirmation that there is no concern about persistency and bioaccumulation.
