Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Partitioning of substances into the different environmental compartments depends mainly on their physico-chemical properties. Since the water solubility of the test substance is very high (9800 mg/L) and the log Pow value low (-0.24), the substance is expected to mainly distribute to the water phase. Since hydrolysis and biodegradation showed to be low, it cannot be excluded that the test substance persist in the aquaeous environment over a certain time. The test substance is not expected to evaporate into the athmosphere due to the low vapour pressure of < 0.0001 Pa at 20 °C. Thus, long-term transport through the athmosphere is not expected. Due to the low lipophilicityx of the substance, uptake and bioaccumulation in aquatic organisms is not considered to be relevant.
