Description of key information

Not applicable to IPETC/O-isopropyl ethylthiocarbamate

Propan-2-ol (CAS number 67-63-0) and Butan-1-ol(CAS number 67-63-0)areone of product of IPETC/ O-isopropyl ethylthiocarbamate . Propan-2-ol has an auto flammability temperature of 399 oC at ambient pressure.Butan-1-ol (CAS number 67-63-0) has an auto flammability temperature of 343 oC at ambient pressure.

Expert Judgement

Due to that Propan-2-ol (CAS number 67-63-0) and Butan-1-ol (CAS number 67-63-0) are one of product of IPETC/ O-isopropyl ethylthiocarbamate.Propan-2-ol (CAS number 67-63-0) and Butan-1-ol (CAS number 67-63-0) has to be considered.

Therefore testing for Auto flammability does not need to be performed.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
399 °C
