Additional information

The melting point of the test item was evaluated in an experimental study according to the OCED Guideline 102 (1981) and the EU Method A.1 (1992). 15.9 mg of test item was heated from 35 °C to 400 °C at a rate of 10 K per minute in an aluminium cup using a differential scanning calorimeter. The test was repeated using 10.5 mg of test item at a rate of 1 K per minute. The heat effect between the sample container and an empty reference container was recorded in both tests, and the weight and consistency of the test item were measured.
