First-aid measures

Description of first aid measures:

Remove victim out of the danger area.

When in doubt or if symptoms are observed, get medical advice.

In case of accident or unwellness, seek medical advice immediately (show directions for use or safety data sheet if possible).

After inhalation: Provide fresh air.

Following skin contact: Wash immediately with water.

After eye contact: Rinse immediately carefully and thoroughly with eye-bath or water.

After ingestion: Rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Seek immediate medical advice.

Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed: No symptoms known to date.

Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed: Treat symptomatically.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Water spray jet. Dry extinguishing powder. Foam. Carbon dioxide (CO2).

Unsuitable extinguishing media: Strong water jet.

Hazardous combustion products: Heating may cause a fire. Carbon monoxide (CO). Carbon dioxide (CO2). Nitrogen oxides (NOx). Ammonia (NH3). Sulphur oxides (POx).

Special protective equipment for firefighters: Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus and chemical protective clothing.

Additional information: Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately. Do not allow to enter drains or surface water.

Accidental release measures

For non-emergency personnel: Avoid generation of dust.

For emergency responders: Use adequat personal protection equipment.

Environmental precautions: Do not allow to enter into soil/subsoil. Do not allow to enter into surface water or drains. Retain contaminated washing water and dispose it. Ensure waste is collected and contained. In case of entry into waterways, soil or drains, inform the responsible authorities.

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up

For containment: No special measures are necessary. For cleaning up: Take up mechanically, placing in appropriate containers for disposal. Wash with plenty of water.

Handling and storage

Avoid: Inhalation of dust/particles. Use only in well-ventilated areas. If local exhaust ventilation is not possible or not sufficient, the entire working area must be ventilated by technical means.

Fire prevention measures: Dust explosive, Dust explosion category: ST 1. Avoid generation of dust. Avoid accumulating electrostatic charge.

Measures to prevent aerosol and dust generation: Dust must be exhausted directly at the point of origin.

Advices on general occupational hygiene: When using do not eat, drink, smoke, sniff. Wash hands before breaks and after work. Used working clothes should not be worn outside the work area.

Suitable container/equipment material: Glass. Stainless steel. Polyethylene (PE).

Unsuitable container/equipment material: Iron

Suitable floor material: The floor should be leak tight, jointless and not absorbent.

Fire prevention measures: No special fire protection measures are necessary.

Do not store together with: Strong oxidising agents, Strong acid, Strong alkali.

Recommended storage temperature: At room temperature.

Stability and reactivity

No hazardous reactions if stored and handled as prescribed/indicated.

The product is stable if stored as prescribed/indicated.

No hazardous reaction when stored and handled according to instruction.

Materials to avoid: Strong oxidising agents,Strong acid,Strong alkali.

No hazardous decomposition products if stored and handled as prescribed/indicated.

Disposal considerations

Waste treatment methods: Send to authorised disposal plants or for incineration under controlled conditions. In so doing, comply with the local and national regulations currently in force.
