Any other information on results incl. tables

Significantly variability was observed between the four values obtained indicating possible homogenity issues with the test item. The variability observed is not typical of this procedure, suggesting the possibility that, although clear solutions were visually observed, undissolved test item may still be present that are affecting the accuracy of the measurements. The results obtained suggest that the test item may be surface active, howeer this is not expected given consideration of the structure of the test item and similar substances have not behaved in the same manner, indicating that the results obtained may be affected by the physical nature of the test item and therefore, it is not clear from the results obtained as to whether significant surface activity is a property of the test item.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Surface tension of the registered substance at 25 oC is 58.5 mM/m (mean value of tests). at 90% saturation. it is not clear from the results obtained as to whether significant surface activity is a property of the test item.
