Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Executive summary:

In a 96-h acute toxicity study, Danio rerio were exposed to Arctium lappa extract at concentrations of 0, 25.9, 49.2, 93.5, 177.7, 337.5, and 641.3 mg/L under static conditions in dechlorinated drinking water as medium. The 96-h LC50 based on mortality was 134 mg/L. Abnormal responses were not observed.

This toxicity study is classified as acceptable and satisfies the guideline requirement for toxicity study on fish.
