The biological degradability of Arctium lappa extract was examined in a Manometric Respirometry Test according to OECD Guideline 301 F. The test substance was degraded to 97.8% after 28 days. Within the 10 -days window degradation was 68%.

Based on the results, the test substance is classified as readily biodegradable, fulfilling the 10 -days window criterion.
