20 °C

Additional information

The water solubility of the test material was investigated in accordance with the standardised guidelines OECD 105 and EU Method A.6 under GLP conditions using the flask method. The study was assigned a reliability score of 1 in accordance with the criteria for assessing data quality set forth by Klimisch et al. (1997).

A test material solution of 250 mg/mL was prepared. Ultrapure water was added to approximately 6 g of test material to get approximately 25 g as final weight in Erlenmeyer flasks. The density of the test solutions was 1.08 g/mL (mean of three replicates). Five parallel samples were prepared and analysis was carried out by HPLC.

Based on the measured concentrations, the test mixtures were homogeneous and the whole amount of the added test material was dissolved. The measured concentrations correspond to the total dissolution of the test material.

Under the conditions of this study, the water solubility of the test material was determined to be higher than 258 g/L (nominal concentration) at 20 °C.
