other: Directive VDI 2263, Part 1
Test procedure:
other: burning index according to Directive VDI 2263
Remarks on result:
other: burning index BZ 4 assigned
Test procedure:
burning rate test: preliminary screening test
Burning time:
56 min

After contact with ignition source spreading smouldering fire was observed. The substance did not melt.

Combustion Class Number (BZ = Brennzahl) 4 was assigned: glowing without sparks (smoldering) or slow decomposition without flame (definition according to Directive VDI 2263, Part 1)

In a preliminary test for determination of the burning rate, powder train 200 mm length, 56 min were measured. No further testing was required.

Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
Combustion Number (BZ) 4 with burning rate 56 min was determined. Therefore, the substance has not to be classified as flammable solid according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
