Results and discussion

Results:
With both experiments, no exothermic decomposition effects were observed.
After the experiments, a white residue remained at the bottom of the sample container. The sample container was expanded due to pressure.

Any other information on results incl. tables

DSC-curves obtained are provided in the experimental report.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
(from analogue) The dossier substance is not anticipated to exhibit self-reactive properties, according to CLP criteria. No further testing required.
Executive summary:

Self-reactive properties of the test item, was determined according to UN guideline, DSC method, under GLP. The substance was tested as supplied.

The lack of exothermal decomposition up to 300°C was considered to be a safe indication that the estimated SADT of the test item is greater than 75°C.

Read-across is justified for the analogue, based on similar chemical structure, lower content, liquid form (aqueous) and lack of exothermal effect with the test substance, suggesting margin of safety sufficient for classification purpose.
