Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

(from analogue) No oxidising properties anticipated.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Oxidising properties:
no

Additional information

No data is available on the substance itself. However, a reliable experimental study, conducted according to UN method and under GLP, is available on an analogue.

Based on chemical similarity, lower content, liquid form (aqueous) and lack of ignition with the analogue, no classification difference is anticipated with the present dossier substance. So the read-across is considered sufficient for purpose, and justified for a key study

Justification for classification or non-classification

Mixtures of the analogue test substance with cellulose did not ignite, therefore it is NOT classified as an oxidising solid, according to Regulation (EC) No.1272/2008 (CLP) criteria.

Solution of the dossier substance as manufactured are therefore NOT anticipated to be classified as oxidising liquid.
