Additional information

The water solubility of Sulfur is 63 µg/L at 20°C and a pH of 7. The water solubility was determined in a way equivalent or similar to OECD test guideline 105 (BASF Aktiengesellschaft, 1991).

In an additional study, the water solubility of sulfur was 0.000000025, 0.000000015, 0.000000017 mole/kg after 1, 2, and 3 months at 298 K, respectively. The mean water solubility was 0.000000019 mole/kg at 298 K (Boulegue, 1978).

In an additional study, the water solubility of sulfur was <0.005 mg/L at 22°C and a pH of 7. The water solubility was determined by OECD test guideline 105 and EU method A.6 (ChemService S.r.l. Testing Laboratory, 2005c).
