Description of key information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH (Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006) Annex X, the carcinogenicity study (required in section 8.9.1) does not need to be conducted as there is no evidence from the 28-day and 5-month inhalational repeat dose toxicity study findings that exposure to the test compound results in hyperplasia or pre-neoplastic lesions and the current classification as a non-genotoxic compound.

Additional information

A carcinogenicity is not required as there is no evidence from the 28-day and 5-month inhalational repeat dose toxicity study findings that exposure to the notifiable substance results in hyperplasia or pre-neoplastic lesions, and the notifiable substance is not classified as a genotoxic compound. As such, the notifiable substance is not classified as carcinogenic as data are lacking.
