Description of key information

Long term toxicity by test material 4-(2,6,6-trimethylcyclohex-1-ene-1-yl)-but-3-ene-2-one to terrestrial plant Limonium sinuatum for 29 days estimated the no observed effect concentration (NOEC) as 1.56 kg/ha. This is considered to be a high value and hence 4-(2,6,6-trimethylcyclohex-1-ene-1-yl)-but-3-ene-2-one is not expected to exhibit toxicity to terrestrial plants

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Long-term EC10, LC10 or NOEC for terrestrial plants:
1.56
