Toxicity to soil macroorganisms except arthropods :-

Short term toxicity to Eisenia fetida for 48 hrs. estimated as LC50 : 748.48 ug/cm2.This value indicate that 4-(2,6,6-trimethylcyclohex-1-ene-1-yl)-but-3-ene-2-one was non toxic to soil macroorganism Eisenia fetida.

Toxicity to terrestrial arthropods:-

Toxicity to soil arthropoda (Apis mellifera) by 4-(2,6,6-trimethylcyclohex-1-ene-1-yl)-but-3-ene-2-one for a 1 hrs study period examined a NOEL of the test organisms at a dose concentration of 25 ml/L.

Toxicity to terrestrial plants:-

Long term toxicity by test material 4-(2,6,6-trimethylcyclohex-1-ene-1-yl)-but-3-ene-2-one to terrestrial plant Limonium sinuatum for 29 days estimated no observed effect concentration NOECas 1.56 kg/ha.

Toxicity to soil microorganisms:-

4-(2,6,6-trimethylcyclohex-1-ene-1-yl)-but-3-ene-2-one examined for toxicity to soil microorganism Beauveria bassiana on the basis of reproduction for 24 hrs. at dose concentration LOEL : 3848.196 mg/l
