Description of key information

Citrowanil B has no oxidising properties.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Oxidising properties:
no

Additional information

The oxidising properties of Citrowanil B were determined according to theEuropean Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008,

Part A: Methods for the determination of physico-chemical properties.A.21.  Oxidising properties of liquids

Due to the fact that the 1:1 mixture, by mass, of test item and cellulose has a mean pressure rise time higher than that of a 1:1 mixture, by mass, of 65 % nitric acid and cellulose the test item has no oxidising properties.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Due to the fact that the 1:1 mixture, by mass, of test item and cellulose has a mean pressure rise time higher than that of a 1:1 mixture, by mass, of 65 % nitric acid and cellulose the test item has no oxidising properties.

Therefore a classification as a oxidising liquid is not necessary.
