Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Only two short term acute toxicity tests on aquatic Invertebrates was available de Nadai (2009) and Pallas and Dion (1983). Too few information were available in the last study. On the opposite, de Nadai (2009) was extensively detailed. The study design used sealed test vessels adapted to volatile substance as for other nitrile substances yet the test substance is not volatile. However this design had no impact on the results presented. The results are deemed to be fully reliable with the exceptions that no chemical analysis were performed. At the end of the test it was calculated a 48h-EC50 = 535.89 mg/L.
