Results and discussion

Flammable solids
Test procedure:
burning rate test: preliminary screening test
Burning time:
5.5 min

Any other information on results incl. tables

The substance could be ignited with a flame during the preliminary test. ln contact with the ignition source, it burned immediately evolving a sooty flame. The test item was still burning without contact of the ignition source. A porous carbonised incrustation remained.

The velocity of the propagation was about 200 mm during 5 minutes and 30 seconds.

Therefore, the burning time of the test item over a distance of 200 mm was determined to be longer than 4 minutes and it was not necessary to perform the main test.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
other: not classified as highly flammable according to the CLP Regulation (EC 1272/2008)
Conclusions:
Not highly flammable.
