Conclusion on classification

Short-term aquatic toxicity data is available for one trophic levels (fish). The acute effect value for fish (Danio rerio) is 23.49 mg/L. As the acute effect level > 1 mg/L, the substance does not need to be classified for acute aquatic hazardin accordance with EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation No. 1272/2008.

As no reliable long-term toxicity data is available, chronic classification needs to be based on acute data. Regarding the acute data (value in the range of 10 - 100 mg/L), the substance being readily biodegradable and a log Kow of 2.75 (no experimental BCF available) the substance does not need to be classified. Therefore, classification for aquatic chronic hazard is not warranted in accordance with EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation No. 1272/2008.
