First-aid measures

Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing. Flush affected area with water; wash with soap and water.
Eye contact: In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Call a physician.
Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air. Restore and/or support his breathing as required. Get medical help.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media:
Foam. Dry powder (Sand or Met-L-X)
CO2. Any media suitable to extinguish supporting combustibles.
Special fire fighting instructions:
Evacuate personnel to a safe area. Keep personnel removed upwind of fire. Wear full protective equipment. Shut off source of fuel, if possible and without risk. Do not use water.

Accidental release measures

Wear respirator, chemical safety goggles, rubber boots and heavy rubber gloves.
Sweep up, place in a bag and hold for waste disposal.
Avoid raising dust.
Ventilate area and wash spill site after material pickup is complete.

Handling and storage

Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling.
Wear gloves, apron and other protective clothing that is suitable for use conditions. Wear chemical safety goggles for dusty operations.
Eyewash stations should be accessible in areas where dusty conditions occur.

Incompatibility: Incompatible with strong reducing agents or alkali.

Disposal considerations

Burn waste material in an approved incinerator or bury it in an approved landfill. Follow the appropriate regulations.
