The concentration control analyses were performed with test solutions of the following nominal
concentrations (mg/I) of the test substance : 0, 10, 100 mg/L
At the start of the test (after 0 h) samples from vessels without daphnids, at the end of the test (after 48 h) samples from vessels with and without daphnids were analyzed.

Reagents: deionized water (Milli Q-system); acetonitrile (Riedel-de-Haen) ; potassium dihydrogenphosphate (Merck); phosphoric acid 85%(Riedel-de-Haen); reference standard and carrier were delivered by the sponsor.

Sample preparation: For calibration the reference standard was dissolved in acetonitrile ; the stock solutions were diluted with 0.01 M KH2PO4 pH3/acetonitrile (1 /1 v/v) .
