Description of key information

The reported vapour pressure of the xylene isomers and 85536-20-5 at 20˚C ranges from 650-4137 Pa. The vapour pressure of m-xylene is 820 Pa, for o-xylene is 650 Pa, for p-xylene is 870 Pa, for ethylbenzene is 944 Pa and for 85536-20-5 is 4137 Pa. The highest vapour pressure will be used in the risk assessment.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Data on 85536 -20 -5 was provided by Rutgers (2009). Data on the xylene isomers and ethylbenzene was taken from Zwolinski and Wilhoit (1971) which is a peer reviewed handbook and so can be considered reliable.
