Additional information

A GLP experimental study is available on the substance (Fieseler 2016), showing apparently consistent results at the sampling times, with an average value of 12.5 mg/L. However, accuracy of this determination is discussed, due to excessive loading rate, and chromatographic profiles of samples, showing additional peaks.

Suspected degradation is confirmed by analysis made for daphnia and algae studies (Börschig 2016a and b). Stability check of the saturated stock solutions in reconstituted water used showed:

- a higher concentration at test start than found in the water solubility study (respectively 17.3 and 15.9 mg/L), and,

- a drop in concentration by more than 50% within 48 or 72h after preparation.

Therefore these results were considered underestimated.

A QSAR estimation derived from the experimental log Kow=3.91 (consistent with logKow=3.7 calculated from structure) provides a Wsol predicted value of 36.6 mg/L.

In order to take into account the experimental results, the average value between the calculated data and the highest measured solubility (i.e. daphnia stock solution) was preferred.
