Description of key information

LC50 for freshwater fish-96h is above 9.9 mg/L. (the highest and nominal concentration is 100mg/L, the water solubility is <0.3mg/L)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Fresh water fish

Additional information

The LC50 was based on the measured concentrations at 96 hours. The test substance was dispersed in water at levels above its water solubility, with nominal concentrations up to 100mg/L being used. Homogenous solutions are claimed for all concentrations, with turbidity observed at the higher levels. Actual measured concentrations were lower than nominal, and declined during the test due to some settleing. No mortalities or other effects were observed at any concentration.
